Start learning a new language and connect to a whole new culture with the Beginner Spanish classes designed for adults.
The lessons are based on a communicative approach and we practise Speaking through day-to-day situations.
Using the renowned "Spanish for Beginners" book by Osbourne as our guide, you'll learn the essential phrases and vocabulary needed to start communicating in Spanish.
By revising everyday expressions in each session, we will reinforce them and you will quickly gain confidence to use your speaking skills. We will explain some Grammar in a clear, enjoyable and easy access way. Learning the basics will make you understand the structure of the language to build sentences in Spanish.

Meet the Tutor
Laura has been teaching Spanish as a Foreign Language since 2016 to both junior learners and adults. She holds a degree in Hispanic Studies and a Master’s degree in Teaching Spanish as a Foreign Language from the University of Barcelona, spending an Erasmus year teaching at the University of Bristol.
Before teaching online she worked in a Secondary school, a Language Academy in Bristol including experience teaching one-to-one lessons. She has prepared many students for GCSEs and A-levels exams (the equivalent of Junior and Leaving Certificate).
Laura has also taught students with ADHD, ASD and dyslexia. In her classes she likes to get to know the students, know their interests and their needs to tailor the lessons and ensure each student takes important learnings away, with the purpose of increasing their engagement with the language.
