Through our dedicated online classes in French, Spanish, and Irish, we strive to make language learning accessible and enjoyable for students with classes starting from 6 to 16 year-olds.
Additionally, our extensive reach extends to over to providing teaching resources to primary schools right across County Mayo, where we teach French and Spanish, aiming to instill a lifelong love for languages from an early age.
Furthermore, we take pride in our inclusive approach, as we warmly welcome international students to participate in our diverse homestay programs, fostering cross-cultural exchanges and creating an enriching environment for language immersion.
Westport Language School is managed and run by Douglas Whittaker, MA in Modern Languages (French, Spanish and Portuguese) at Edinburgh University and Language Teaching Accreditation through Cambridge University.
French & Spanish Language Courses
We currently offer fun and interactive online language courses in both French and Spanish aimed at primary and secondary school children (6-16 years old) using the award winning La Jolie Ronde method. These courses are ideal for children to start learning a secondary language and will help them make the jump to learning foreign languages in secondary school. The course allows for continuity and progression through to the Junior Cert Examination but also has flexible starting points;

Irish Secondary School Classes
We also offer extensive Irish online junior certificate preparation for all 1st, 2nd and 3rd year students to help them ace their future examinations
